Artist’s Notes:

The Side Gig refers to the jobs that artists take on to support their practice. I deisgn sportswear and have a design consultancy, which is my ‘side gig’. My design logo, falling off the side of the canvas, reiterates the name of the work. The work comprises sections of numerous older works reinvented in this canvas collage, sewn together to breath new love into former acts of expressive and explorative painting and mark making.
