Artist’s Notes:

Having completed a couple of new works after a long break from my artistic practice, this work swung into life off the coat tails of my new enthusiasm to recover old work. I painted a work in 2023 with glitter and glue and loved the effect but not the overall painting and so I reappropriated it as an abstract collage and with a slightly more complex sewing technique. I also wanted to create a sewn work on a smaller scale that had the same impact and abstraction as the larger works.
